It is not difficult to find people in Second Life. There are several ways.

(1) Click search at the bottom of the page, click on people and search his name. By double clicking on his name, his profile will come up. You can then IM him.

(2) He is a member of the same group as you (New Scotland Yard). Either search for this group or click on the group under your profile. Once the screen for this group has been opened, you can look through the group members list and double click to activate his profile.

(3) If he is a friend of yours, he may have made his location visible to you. Simply go into map and under friends find his position.

In any case, once you have his profile you can send him an IM or offer him a teleport.
